I have known Rob Summers for over 20 years and during this time we have worked on many productions in many different capacities. I was his No 2 on a number of touring productions, we have both worked as freelance sound engineers together and more recently he has operated shows that I have sound designed. I believe him to one of the best operators I have had the pleasure to have worked with. He has always shown a high degree of passion for this role and subsequently for any production he has been apart of. This coupled with his vast experience makes him, in my opinion, a valuable asset in any sound department. This is why when “Songs for Nobodies” was confirmed to have a West End run myself and Tony Gayle decided he was the best man for the role. His contribution has been consistently of the highest standard and has helped make this production sound as good every night as it did on the opening night.
